South African police have announced the arrest of a man wanted in relation to the tragic murders of Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, 42, and her two daughters, Natalie, 15, and five-year-old Nala. The bodies of the victims were discovered in their home in Great Denham, Bedfordshire, on July 6.
The suspect, Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, also known as Mark, was apprehended following an operation supported by Interpol. Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, National Spokesperson for the South African Police Service, reported that the arrest was executed swiftly, stating, “Within a matter of hours, we were able to track the man down to Kensington in Johannesburg. Let this serve as a stern warning to criminals globally that South Africa is not a sanctuary for fugitives.”
According to Bedfordshire Police, Tshuma, 45, had fled the UK just two days before the discovery of the bodies, believed to have traveled to Zimbabwe from Heathrow Airport. He is identified as a British citizen of Zimbabwean descent.
In the wake of this tragic incident, a family representative expressed their profound grief in a statement issued by the police. “The Khumalo family is deeply saddened to confirm the passing of our beloved Zandile (Nothabo) Khumalo and her two children.
