Kovid Tears: Interview with Samia and Abdul

By hoaf  Published On January 12, 2021

As part of our Covid-19 support programme, we reached out and spoke with Samia and Abdul along with their mum.

Samia and Abdul have been away from school through out the pandemic and like other kids, have been separated from friends and some loved ones.

They have an ailing grandmother who was also a covid-19 patient. Not being able to visit ailing loved ones and friends worried the young duo and being at home for too long was becoming too boring.

House of Africa replaced Samia’s broken phone so she could reconnect with friends and loved ones while we also promised Abdul a new PlayStation console.

Watch the video above to listen to the full interview.
